Leadership
Meet the Directors

President & Ambassador
Captain Blake Kollin
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, his passion for the sea developed early on as he spent most of his childhood on his family's boat, M/Y Well Done. At just 9 years old he started learning essential skills of the sea. By his teens he was executing a full bow-to-stern refit on Well Done. Through his early experiences, he developed foundational engineering skills and established robust seamanship by spending summers navigating the California coastline and Mexico's Sea of Cortez with his family. Twenty-two years later, Blake Kollin has emerged as a seasoned leader, having logged over 100,000 nautical miles globally. As a recognized expert in the charter sector, he is dedicated to elevating international standards and reaching new milestones within the superyacht world, luxury domain, and community sectors. Following the success of various charter initiatives and programs developed through his leadership and his firm, CK Elite LLC, he is now embarking on a new professional phase. A central focus for Blake is mentoring the upcoming generation of yacht personnel to improve the lives of both owners and crew members. He emphasizes safety and the enhancement of experiences for guests and staff alike, while championing environmental conservation, human rights, and the welfare of crew. His goal is to create pathways for underrepresented individuals in the field and to support the growth of talented professionals. By operating with honor, empathy, and integrity, he seeks to share contemporary knowledge to benefit the future of maritime industries. Outside of his professional duties, Blake values community-focused socializing and has participated in extensive expeditions spanning the Amazon, the Andes, and Everest. He remains committed to cultural immersion, linguistic studies, and furthering his education, which includes advanced coaching at Harvard Business School focused on nonprofit management. Along the way Blake found a deep passion for philanthropy, which naturally evolved into the founding of The Circle of CK Elite. To connect, for the purpose of good. — CK
